Terms & Conditions 

SERVICE CONDITIONS

​

The acceptance of a place on a workshop, course or class at Natal Wellness will be deemed as acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

​

PAYMENT FOR NATAL WELLNESS COURSES CLASSES & WORKSHOPS.

​

The fee for Natal Wellness services is due in advance of the start date.​

These include the following:

- Antenatal/Postnatal classes & courses

- Breastfeeding workshops & support groups 

- Baby & toddler classes and courses

- Paediatric first aid

-Pregnancy coffee mornings

Payment for a Service confirms your place on that given service and is non-refundable from the point of booking.

​

Once your payment has been received, we will send you a confirmation email.

 

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

​

Natal Wellness reserves the right to cancel courses, classes & workshops at short notice due to personal circumstances – in this event all attendees will be offered a full refund or chance to join the same service at a later date.

​

You can cancel any course, class or workshop by emailing or phoning Natal Wellness at any time. Cancelation will be confirmed within 10 working days. If you choose to cancel the service, the following terms and conditions apply:

​

  • More than 3 weeks notice – 50% of final fee payable or alternative date offered.

  • 3 weeks or less notice – No refund will be offered but an alternative date will be offered instead.

  • Under extreme circumstances Natal Wellness may issue a full refund but will require a processing fee. Please contact Natal Wellness for course class & workshop cancellation processing fee. 

 

Natal Wellness accepts that whilst working with small children & pregnant people, there are sometimes situations where Courses/ Classes need to be cancelled due to illness. If this is the case, Natal Wellness will endeavour to work with the client to arrange another date and there will be no charge or cancellation fee as long as the same service is being booked for a later date.

SUPERVISION AND SERVICE TERMINATION 

​

During the class, it is your responsibility to supervise your child (or children) at all times and ensure that they are not left unattended. The instructor is not liable for any child at any point during the class. If you plan on bringing siblings or additional adults, please notify the instructor beforehand.

​

In the event that a parent, caretaker, or visitor behaves in a manner deemed inappropriate by the instructor, we reserve the right to terminate services provided to the client.

​

It is expected that you bring your baby/child to class with you. However, if you decide to attend without them, your instructor will ask for proof of your relationship with the child. If you are unable to provide valid evidence, the instructor may use discretion in allowing you to continue with the class.

HEALTH & SAFETY 

​

All courses, classes and workshops are undertaken by trained professionals.

​

Our antenatal/postnatal courses, breastfeeding workshops & support groups, baby massage services, baby tummy time & sensory services, toddler play sessions & paediatric first aid courses are held by qualified midwives. For legal reasons and for the purposes of these services, our midwives are only able to advise about pregnancy, childbirth and new baby care in-line with national guidance for the public. Individual advice on your own current pregnancy and wellbeing and/or babies health and wellbeing cannot be given under any circumstances and clients must take queries about their own personal health or pregnancy to their community midwife, GP, obstetrician or other appropriate health professional.

All advice and Information given by Natal Wellness is from degree level training, previous experience, and opinion only and should not be treated as a substitute for medical advice from your GP, Midwife, consultant or Paediatrician. Natal Wellness courses have been designed as a supplement to the information, advice and general instruction offered by the local NHS Trust. All course material provided is for general information purposes only and should not under any circumstances be construed in any way as being particular individual medical advice or instruction.

Natal Wellness does not work in a medical capacity and any concerns about your pregnancy, your health or your baby’s/child's medical health should be taken up with your GP, midwife, consultant or health visitor.

​

Any medical or concerns about you or your baby/child should be expressed in the booking forms prior to attending any service Natal Wellness offers.

​

To ensure a healthy and safe learning environment, we kindly ask that only healthy children attend class. If your child has exhibited symptoms such as fever, vomiting, or diarrhea within the past 48 hours, or is displaying contagious cold symptoms (such as heavy nasal discharge or discharging eyes), please keep them at home. As a precaution, please refrain from attending if you or your child are showing symptoms of a communicable disease, such as Measles, Chicken Pox, German Measles, Whooping Cough, Impetigo, Scarlett Fever, Hand Foot and Mouth, Norovirus or COVID-19.

VIDEOS, PHOTOGRAPHS & CONFIDENTIALITY

We understand that capturing memories is important to you, but please be mindful of others' privacy during our classes. While you are welcome to take pictures or videos of your children, it's important to secure permission from others before including them in your content. If someone asks you to stop, please be respectful and comply with their request.

​

Moreover, the instructor may ask you to stop filming if the amount of footage being taken is excessive.

We would also like to remind you that the content of our classes is copyrighted and should not be used for any public activity without our explicit permission.

​

Occasionally, we may request to take photographs or videos during classes for marketing or promotional purposes. This may include social media, promotional materials, or our website.

​

BEHAVIOURS 

​

Natal Wellness never promises that you, your partner & baby/child will gain all information desired as classes courses and workshops are bespoke depending on the clients wishes, however Natal Wellness will always endeavour to improve clients knowledge to promote positive pregnancy, healthy relationships, baby bonding, breastfeeding journeys, mental health & journeys to parenthood.

Natal Wellness reserves the right to decline any application to attend any of its courses, classes or workshops.

​

Natal Wellness cannot accept responsibility or liability for any loss, damage or injury to any person or property arising out of or resulting from attendance at our classes. You are particularly advised to take care of all personal property and possessions.
